Hi, I’m Hannah — and to me, cooking isn’t just a skill or a routine. It’s a canvas. It’s color, creativity, and connection all rolled into one. That belief is at the heart of everything I share here at Palette of Flavor.

My story with food doesn’t begin with a perfect soufflé or a cookbook moment. It begins with curiosity — and a mess. As a kid, I was constantly mixing spices I didn’t understand, painting sauces onto plates like they were brushstrokes, and asking too many questions while my parents tried to get dinner on the table. Our kitchen was loud, lively, and full of imperfect but heartfelt meals — and I loved every second of it.

What I didn’t realize then was that I was learning the language of flavor. I was learning that food could be a form of art — a way to express emotion, explore cultures, and bring joy to everyday moments. That same spirit of exploration has stayed with me through culinary school, restaurant kitchens, and now, right here with you.
